Things Left Behind
In an effort to be more present to my daily surroundings and everyday experiences, this collection of images grew out of contingent and found moments that otherwise would have been overlooked or lost to memory. I was particularly interested in the imprints and after effects of human influence within all these photos, whether it’s from the stark lines of man-made structures or the positioning of one’s body. Through the tension of how these things came to be and how they are seen now by the viewer, this photo series seeks to capture the seemingly leftover and enduring details of spaces and situations, exploring the effects of time and presence.
